Free Loss Assessing When Using Our Approved Contractors
When you submit a claim to your insurer, you have the option to appoint your own loss assessor rather than waiting for one to be recommended to you by your insurer. Many policyholders are not aware that they are able to receive the same professional advice from a loss assessor as their insurer receives. You can appoint an independent loss assessor working on your behalf without any cost towards you.
Public Loss Assessors offer a free service towards you and aim to get you your full settlement without your insurer deciding what the outcome of your settlement is. We will put your interests first in order to supply you with the best possible service.
If you decide to appoint our loss assessors to take care of your insurance claim, we will employ our approved contractor to start renovation work on your property as quickly as possible. As well as working on your behalf, we will ensure that you receive your full entitlement at no extra cost to you. We have a very close partnership with many of the leading building restoration companies located around the UK, which enables them to provide their services at no cost to the policyholder.
Appoint Us As Your Advisors
Appointing our loss assessors to act as your professional advisors will enable us to handle all negotiations related to your insurance claim. We will ensure that your end settlement is achieved and act as your own personal insurance claim specialists.
When you appoint a different loss assessor, the insurance company’s preferred loss assessor will assess the amount paid out in the majority of cases. The assessment is a lower figure than what would cover the restoration work. We aim to achieve the opposite, our main priority is to make sure that you are treated first and not in second place. Every individual claim will be dealt with by a CILA member, supervised and summarised by a qualified loss assessor.
We do not work for the insurer this means that there is no conflict between both parties, the loss assessors who work for the public must be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Why Would I Want My Claim Assessed Independently?
It is fairly easy to take out an insurance policy, but most of the public don’t quite realise what the real value of the policy is when they experience a disaster and then have to submit a claim for the insured event.
Most of the public will be left to deal with insurance claims on their own and are not sure how to handle the important information that will be in their contracts, informing what you may or may not be entitled to. When a valid insurance claim in made, your insurers initial procedure would normally be to contact their preferred contractor or claims management company to work on your behalf and evaluate the whole process.
